The Scott Scale 925 has a Fox 32 Step-Cast suspension fork for cross country racing. In addition I’ve installed the Fox Transfer Performance Elite Dropper Post to have more control in technical sections. Both components have seals and guides that are exposed to the rainy and muddy weather elements during autumn in the Netherlands. So I like to keep the seals protected, while having a minimum of friction on the fork legs or post of the dropper. But also in summer these seals should stay lubricated.
At a foundational level the Brunox Deo for Suspension Forks and Dropper Post performs a very similar function. Protecting seals and making sure the friction on the suspending fork-legs is minimized. However the main difference is having a grease or a spray can (Brunox Deo).
Dynamic Fork Grease MTB is on the workbench of my garage to just like Dynamic Carbon Assembly Paste and some other Dynamic Bike Care products. Making sure the fork grease is applied on the Fox 32 Step-Cast suspension fork and Fox Transfer Performance Elite Dropper Post has become part of the weekly maintenance regime of the Scott Scale 925 mountain bike.
But with a high quality dropper post and suspension fork a bit of maintenance investment is justified. I’m happy to use the Dynamic MTB Fork Grease on a regular basis. If I just have 30 seconds of time I’ll be using the Brunox Deo for Suspension Forks and Dropper Post to touch up the seal protection.

The price-point of Dynamic MTB Fork Grease is around € 18,00 for a 200 ml container. You will enjoy the contents of the 200 ml container for a long time, so the investment is fair for the high quality Fox 32 Step-Cast suspension fork and Fox Transfer Performance Elite Dropper Post. Exchanging seals will be way more expensive.
I’m using the Brunox Deo for Suspension Forks and Dropper Post for a quick touch-up of seal protection. Otherwise I use the MTB Fork Grease of Dynamic Bike Care, simply because it is part of my in depth maintenance routine (and because I’m happy with the quality of Dynamic Bike Care products.
