A box with Born Blocks consists of 16 tablets of 4 grams (4 strips with 4 blocks). The huge advantage is that the Born Block is small and easy packaged. This makes it not only easy to stash away in the back pockets of your cycling jersey, but the portion is also small so you can easily digest it (even going uphill in the high mountains).
I’m a fan of fueling small bits on a regular basis, rather than eating a complete energy bar in one go. The Born Block is also a small source of energy, magnesium and caffeine to keep your energy levels up. I personally trim down the strips with scissors to have an even smaller package with me.
